Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

  • 9:30 am – Depart Fisherman’s Wharf
    Your guide will meet you at the convenient departure location. After a brief roll call, you'll board the bus and begin your adventure. Your first stops include all the most famous neighborhoods in San Francisco!
  • 9:30 am to 12:30 pm – Explore San Francisco’s famous neighborhoods!
    During this time, you are treated to entertaining stories about the neighborhoods, as well as the history, diversity, and geographical nuances that make San Francisco one of the most unique cities in the world! You'll exit the bus several times (10-15 minutes) to soak in the neighborhoods and capture amazing photos! Please see Neighborhoods Visited below for details on each neighborhood, as well as where you'll stop for photos.
  • 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm – Free Time in Sausalito
    Enjoy a leisurely lunch in Sausalito (cost of lunch not included), at any restaurant of your choosing! Your guides provide plenty of recommendations on their favorite eats as well as suggestions on how to make the most of your time in this beautiful waterfront town. You are sure to fall in love with Sausalito’s sleepy, small town charm!
  • 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm – Explore Muir Woods
    After lunch, you'll board for a a short, 15-minute ride to Muir Woods. Here, you have 75 minutes to walk amongst some of the last remaining coastal redwoods in the world! This is, of course, an unforgettable photo opportunity. Many visitors consider this the highlight of the entire day!
  • 4:30 pm – Return to Fisherman’s Wharf
    At the end of your amazing adventure, you'll be dropped off at the same location where you boarded the bus.

  • There is NO cell phone service or WiFi at or around Muir Woods National Monument.
  • The coast redwood forest is cool most times of the year with temperatures ranging from 40-70 degrees F (4-21 degrees C).
  • Expect rain from late October to early May, and slightly warmer and dryer weather from June through August.
